our place…

Wildwood is a mudbrick retreat nestled in the bushland of Wheatsheaf, just outside Daylesford. When I found it, the house was tired and forgotten, but full of charm — raw timber, heavy shadows, and a quiet magic in the surrounding forest. Its character was unmistakable, even beneath years of wear.

The transformation was slow and intentional. Rather than modernise for the sake of it, leaning into the home’s natural warmth: softening palettes, opening light, and adding mid-century touches that felt true to the space. Every decision aimed to honour the original mudbrick and let the house breathe again. Wildwood today is calm, warm, and designed for unhurried living.
